This product is the dried shoots of Morus alba L., a mulberry plant. .
[properties] this product is long cylindrical, with few branches, varying in length and length, and 0.5 ~ 1.5cm in diameter. Its surface is grayish yellow or yellowish brown, with many yellowish brown punctate lenticels and fine longitudinal lines, and there are grayish white slightly semicircular leaf marks and yellowish brown axillary buds. It is tough, not easy to break, and the section is fibrous. The slice is 0.2 ～ 0.5cm thick, the skin is thin, the wood is yellowish white, radial, and the pulp is white or yellowish white. The air is weak and the taste is light.

There are many fibers in bundles or scattered, light yellow or colorless, slightly curved, with a diameter of 10-30 μ m, a wall thickness of 5-15 μ m, folds at the bend, and a very thin cell cavity. The stone cells are pale yellow, quasi round and quasi square in shape, 15-40 μ m in diameter, 5-20 μ m in wall thickness, and small in lumen. The sclerenchyma cells containing crystals are clustered or scattered, and their shape and size are similar to those of stone cells. There are 1-2 calcium oxalate crystals in the cell cavity. Calcium oxalate square crystals exist in thick walled cells or scattered, with a diameter of 5-20 μ M. .

3、 Pharmacological effects of Ramulus Mori

1. improve the lymphocyte transformation rate. Mulberry twig has a certain therapeutic effect on patients with low lymphocyte transformation rate. For example, the patients with low lymphocyte transformation rate were divided into two groups on average. In addition to the corresponding treatment, the mulberry branch group was additionally decocted with 30g of mulberry branch every day, while the control group did not use mulberry branch. After one month of treatment, there was no difference in the rate of lymph node metastasis between the two groups; And mulberry branch group significantly increased.

2. it has certain anti Brucella effect, and its mechanism is unknown. Sangshu decoction was used to treat chronic brucellosis. The control observation showed that the treatment group had certain curative effect.
