It is brittle and easy to break. The cut surface is yellowish white. The wood accounts for the majority, and the pith is white. .
[identification] (1) cross section of this product: epidermal cells sometimes remain, and the number of cork cells is more than 10. The cortex is composed of 10 layers of loosely arranged round like parenchyma cells. . The cambium is obvious. In the chromatogram of the test sample, fluorescent spots of the same color appear at the position corresponding to the chromatogram of the control medicinal material.
