Acer truncatum bark
1、 Pharmacopoeia standard of Acer truncatum bark       This product is the dried bark of Illicium DIFENGPI k.i.b.et K.I.M., a Magnoliaceae plant. .
      [properties] the product is in a reel or groove shape, 5-15cm long, 1-4cm in diameter, and 0.2-0.3cm thick. The outer surface is grayish brown to dark brown, and some gray white lichen spots can be seen. The thick skin is easy to peel off or fall off, and the peeling place is brownish red. The inner surface is brown or brownish red, with obvious fine longitudinal wrinkles. It is brittle and easy to break, with granular section. It smells slightly and tastes slightly astringent.

There are scattered stone cell groups in the cortex, with a few fiber bundles embedded therein; There is secretory cell distribution.       (2) Take 2G of crude powder of this product, add 5ml of trichloromethane, shake, soak for 30 minutes, and filter. Take the filtrate and dot it on the filter paper. After drying, place it under the UV lamp (254nm) for observation, showing scarlet to light scarlet fluorescence.
