Baiwei
1、 Baiwei pharmacopoeia standard       This product is the dried roots and rhizomes of Cynanchum atratum bge. or Cynanchum versicolor bge. of Asclepiadaceae. Excavate in spring and autumn, wash and dry.
      [character] the rhizome of this product is thick and short, with nodules and many bends. There are round stem marks on the top, and most slender roots are clustered on the bottom and both sides, with a length of 10-25cm and a diameter of 0.1-0.2cm. The surface is brownish yellow. It is brittle and easy to break, with yellowish white skin and yellow wood on the cross section. The breath is slight, and the taste is slightly bitter.

      (2) Take 1g of this product powder, add 30ml of methanol, sonicate for 20 minutes, cool, filter, evaporate the filtrate, add 1ml of methanol to dissolve the residue as the test solution. Another 1g of Baiwei reference medicinal material was taken, and the reference medicinal material solution was prepared by the same method. According to the test of thin-layer chromatography (general rule 0502), suck 2 µ l of each of the above two solutions, dot them on the same silica gel G thin-layer plate, use the upper solution of n-butanol ethyl acetate water (4:1:5) as the developing agent, develop, take out, dry, spray sulfuric acid ethanol solution (1 → 10), and heat at 105 ℃ until the spots are clear. In the chromatogram of the test sample, spots of the same color appear on the corresponding position of the chromatogram of the control medicinal material.
