The project plans to formulate high-quality product standards covering more than 50% of the large varieties of Chinese patent medicines, as well as the grade standards for more than 50% of the most commonly used Chinese Herbal Pieces in clinical practice, build a platform for the standardization of Chinese herbal medicine, implement the regular announcement mechanism for the information of Chinese herbal medicine high-quality products, build a long-term mechanism for the standards of Chinese herbal medicine high-quality products, and promote high-quality and good price. The first batch of construction projects involved 105 enterprises nationwide, involving 59 large varieties of traditional Chinese medicine and 101 commonly used pieces of traditional Chinese medicine. The project was implemented from 2016 to 2018.
