At present, it can provide more than 70 Ginsenosides of Panax notoginseng, among which the commonly used ginsenosides, such as ginsenoside Rh2, Ginsenoside Rg3, ginsenoside Rg5, ginsenoside F2, ginsenoside Rb1, ginsenoside Rd, ginsenoside Re, protopanaxadiol, protopanaxatriol, etc., can be provided in large quantities at the kilogram level.
Ginsenoside coumpound K (CK) is the main metabolite of protopanaxadiol type saponins in human intestine, which belongs to rare ginsenosides. The unique biological activity of ginsenoside compound K has attracted extensive attention, and its scientific research is also increasing.
The advantages of ginsenoside compound K are as follows:
1. the "natural prodrug" theory has confirmed that ginsenoside compound K is the entity of ginsenoside activity. Existing studies have shown that its antitumor and immune enhancing activities are the strongest of all ginsenosides.
2. Ginsenoside compound K is the most suitable of all ginsenosides to be developed as an antitumor drug. . For patients with malignant tumors, once they enter the conventional treatment, the digestive system function is basically completely lost, and the absorption level of oral preparations is quite limited. Ginsenoside compound K can be made into an injection with its better water solubility to play a direct role.
3. ginsenoside compound K is involved in specific anti-tumor drug treatment schemes, which is helpful to establish an efficient tumor treatment mode and tap the therapeutic potential of existing treatment means and drugs. Existing studies have shown that ginsenoside compound K indeed has a good toxicity reducing and synergistic effect on some first-line antitumor drugs.
4. ginsenoside compound KCan inhibit memory T cells. Ginsenoside compound K has anti immune function in heart transplantation and can prolong the survival time of transplanted heart. Ginsenoside compound K can significantly inhibit the proliferation of cd4+ and cd8+ memory T cells in mixed lymphocyte reaction.
5. Ginsenoside compound K isPotential drugs to prevent and treat skin aging. CK can increase the expression of collagen and inhibit the UV radiation to fibroblasts.
6. Ginsenoside compound K has good security.
Gao et al studied whether CK was toxic by injecting ginsenoside compound K into male and female dogs. The injection doses were 6.7, 20 and 60 mg / kg / day respectively, and then the body weight, food intake, blood, body temperature, electrocardiogram, urine examination, autopsy, organ weight and histopathological examination were observed for 90 days. The results showed that body weight, food intake, blood, body temperature, ECG and urine examination were not affected by CK, but when observing and analyzing the liver toxicity of multiple indicators, high-dose liver poisoning was obvious, but the author believed that this phenomenon might be reversible.
