From May 22 to 23, 2017, the second Chinese medicine quality marker Summit Forum was held in Chizhou. Liuchangxiao, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering, huangluqi, executive vice president of the Chinese Academy of traditional Chinese medicine and academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering, Professor lixiaokun, President of Wenzhou University, Professor Guo De'an, Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other 14 well-known national experts attended the meeting and made academic reports. More than 300 experts and scholars from all over the country attended the forum. Xie Qilin, deputy general manager of biopurify technology, was invited to attend and actively communicated with experts at the meeting to discuss various possibilities of production, learning and research cooperation.
This quality marker Summit Forum is themed by quality marker. An expert team led by academician liuchangxiao, who proposed the core concept of quality marker of traditional Chinese medicine, jointly discussed the role of quality marker of traditional Chinese medicine in pharmaceutical engineering and quality control of traditional Chinese medicine, so as to provide a scientific basis for the formulation of quality standards of traditional Chinese medicine. At the meeting, liuchangxiao and huangluqi made reports entitled "research progress of quality marker of traditional Chinese medicine" and "screening and application of quality marker of traditional Chinese medicine based on the theory and technology of molecular pharmacognosy". The experts and professors present at the meeting reported the latest research progress on the quality standards of traditional Chinese medicine in their respective fields from different angles.
The quality marker of traditional Chinese medicine (q-marker) was put forward by liuchangxiao under the background of the promulgation of the law of traditional Chinese medicine and the restriction of the quality control of traditional Chinese medicine on the development of traditional Chinese medicine. It not only puts forward its core concept, but also standardizes the definition of quality marker and defines the basic conditions of quality marker. The concept of quality marker of traditional Chinese medicine is put forward. According to the characteristics of its own pharmaceutical system, such as the biological properties, manufacturing process and compatibility theory of traditional Chinese medicine, it integrates multi-disciplinary knowledge and puts forward the core quality concept, so as to lead the quality research of traditional Chinese medicine and further close the correlation between the effectiveness of traditional Chinese Medicine - material base - quality control landmark components. The established thinking mode and research method focus on the uniqueness, difference, dynamic change of the material base in the whole process and the transmissibility and traceability of quality, which is conducive to the establishment of the whole process quality control and quality traceability system of traditional Chinese medicine.
After the expert report, academician liuchangxiao and Minister zhouyuehua of CFDA drug evaluation center presided over the discussion and exchange of issues related to the quality marker of traditional Chinese medicine. The two experts answered the questions of the participants from the perspective of research and evaluation, so that everyone had a deeper understanding of the quality marker of traditional Chinese medicine.
