The efficacy and function of Coptis chinensis is the dry rhizome of Coptis chinensis, a perennial herb of Scrophulariaceae. According to traditional Chinese medicine, Coptis chinensis has the effect of reducing deficiency heat, removing sore heat and clearing dampness heat. The main components of Rhizoma Coptidis extract are Rhizoma Coptidis glycoside and so on.
pharmacological action
1. hepatoprotective and cholagogic effects
The root extract of Rhizoma Coptidis has cholagogic effect. Coptis chinensis glycoside ⅱ has protective effect on liver damage induced by carbon tetrachloride in mice and cholagogic effect in rats.
The results showed that the extract of Coptis chinensis had anti liver injury effect on rats with liver poisoning in vitro. Acetophenone vanilla isolated from the petroleum ether extract of Coptis chinensis has a significant cholagogic effect on anesthetized dogs.
2. anti fungal effect on skin
The aqueous extract of Rhizoma Coptidis (1:4) has inhibitory effects on various skin fungi in vitro, such as Trichophyton versicolor, Trichophyton concentric, Trichophyton gymnoides, tinea schrenckii, tinea oxyspora, tinea ferrugosa, tinea inguinal epidermis and so on.
3. effect on smooth muscle
Vanillin ethyl ketone has contractile effect on rabbit ileum and rat uterus, and antagonizes the spasm of guinea pig ileum and rat uterus caused by various spasmodic agents. The glucosides of Coptis chinensis can protect the sensitivity of guinea pig bronchiectasis induced by long-term administration of isoproterenol, and the use of isoproterenol can significantly reduce the bronchoconstriction induced by histamine phosphate in guinea pigs.
4. other functions
Coptis chinensis glycoside IBerberineⅡ. Picroside Ⅲ, vanillic acid and acetophenone can inhibit the chemogenesis and free radical production of PMN leukocytes induced by Yeast Polysaccharides. Berberine could significantly improve the survival rate of the extract of poison goose lamb in mice.
