On August 22, the 19th globalization alliance of traditional Chinese medicine (hereinafter referred to as CGCM) opened in Chengdu. Representatives of well-known experts, scholars and members of the TCM globalization alliance from more than 10 countries and regions, including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Australia, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines, attended the meeting. The opening ceremony of the conference was held by academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, CGCM Chenkaixian, vice chairman of the globalization alliance of traditional Chinese medicine, and yushuguang, President of Chengdu University of traditional Chinese Medicine Co chaired the meeting.
At the opening ceremony, yushuguang, deputy secretary of the Party committee and President of Chengdu University of traditional Chinese medicine, yangdianxing, vice president of the Chinese Association of traditional Chinese medicine and President of the Sichuan Association of traditional Chinese medicine, chenkaixian, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and vice president of the CGCM Chinese medicine Globalization alliance, and other industry experts made relevant speeches and shared their views.
At the meeting, academician chenkaixian delivered an opening speech. He said that this year coincided with the 20th anniversary of the founding of CGCM. Under the leadership of Professor zhengyongqi, chairman of the alliance, and the joint efforts of all members, the scale of the TCM globalization alliance has been expanding and the cooperation has become increasingly extensive. CGCM has made important contributions to the establishment of a global cooperation mechanism for traditional Chinese medicine research and the promotion of the globalization of traditional Chinese medicine. This meeting will provide a platform for experts and professionals in relevant fields to gain new insights and opportunities and achieve more fruitful results.
In order to promote the high-quality development of traditional Chinese medicine production, study and research, and promote traditional Chinese medicine from the southwest region to the world, Chengdu University of traditional Chinese medicine launched and established the CGCM Chinese medicine globalization alliance southwest regional alliance in 2019. .
